FOUNDER & CEO, POOL INC.
Marketer & Event Producer, TokyoDesigning systems and sparks.
Born on 10 November 1976 in Sakai, Osaka. At university he travelled across India and other parts of Asia, getting by as a street performer. He founded a software company at 25, went on to management roles at an advertising agency and a design company, and founded POOL Inc. in 2009.
He brings counselling techniques to business support. Listening to hear what people really think; helping them put it into words, so it becomes a compass for hard decisions (mission, vision and values); turning it into plans and projects; and working alongside the team on the ground until it delivers results. Not just marketing or planning, and not just counselling, but hands-on support that runs alongside both the business and the people doing the work.
As an event producer, he leads MIRACLE PAINT, the Japanese peel-off face paint behind the official face-paint booth of Rugby World Cup 2019, and edits FACE PAINT JOURNAL, a media outlet on face-paint events. He also supports the Japan Wheelchair Tennis Association with marketing strategy, sponsorship and hands-on events.
